We met up with Josefin Hillbom, Product Owner at Factoringgruppen, to learn more about what they use Strawbay for, why they chose us, and what it has meant for their business.

Josefin is a engineering graduate with a background in development and digitalization projects. She’s genuinely passionate about combining technology with business value.
In her role as Product Owner at Factoringgruppen, she’s responsible for planning and prioritizing what the software engineers should build next. Her driving force is to create stable, user-friendly, and long-term sustainable solutions that make customers’ everyday work easier – while strengthening the business at the same time.
The core of Factoringgruppen’s operations is factoring. They help companies unlock capital and improve liquidity through flexible financing solutions. Why Strawbay?

The solution – how Factoringgruppen use Strawbay
Factoringgruppen run their own in-house developed core factoring management system along with a client portal. The latter is where Strawbay comes in. Strawbay handles the integrations between Factoringgruppen’s client portal and their customers’ ERP systems – powered by our Connectors, Flows, and the Onboarding module.
Connectors link Factoringgruppen’s internal systems with their clients’ ERPs. And flows manage factoring invoices and bookkeeping vouchers. The Onboarding module takes care of new client connections, letting each customer connect their portal account to their ERP system through a smooth, self-service onboarding flow directly in the client portal.
The main integration flows include:
- Factoring invoices – running via pulling service
- Factoring invoices – running via scheduler
- Bookkeeping vouchers – running via webhook solution
