Why we exist

Integrations without the black box

Operators whose business runs on financial data cannot afford a black box. Buying integration services usually means exactly that: an opaque, expensive dependency. Strawbay removes it. You see every integration, its status and how data flows, and you get stable financial flows your operation can rely on, delivered fast and securely, and monitored in production.

What we do

One engine, built on a console and a DSL

Our core is a console and platform built on a domain-specific language (DSL), with a no-code IDE at its heart. The DSL ships complex integrations significantly faster and keeps them stable regardless of volume, and it lets an agent layer work as an integral part of the console rather than a bolt-on.

The engine can integrate almost anything, but we specialise in fintech and especially 1-to-n: consolidating data from a large number of end customers, across many different systems, into one master system. Others connect one-to-one. Strawbay industrialises 1-to-n onboarding, refined to a level few or no other players reach. Roughly 95% of all ERPs on the Swedish market can be onboarded through Strawbay, with more added across the Nordics and beyond.

Our story

Born out of Quiddly

The idea of Strawbay was born out of Quiddly, another company in the Blingdale Group. Quiddly discovered early on that stable and transparent integrations are key to success in their industry. This led them to develop their own integration service named Squidd, the primordial seed that would later become the catalyst for Strawbay’s inception.

The name has a story too. Strawbay is the hovering island that connects software in the cloud. We go beyond the cloud, up in the stratosphere, which is where the “stra” part comes from. Connect “stra” with the “bay” where software anchors, add a “w” for some phonetic pizzazz, and you get: Strawbay.
